A well-made urea lotion for very dry, rough skin. Urea is a molecule your barrier already makes, so this tops up something familiar. In the United States it is a gray-market import, and the box does not tell you whether you have 5% or 10%. Buy Eucerin Advanced Repair here instead.

Dry Skin
Good fitVery dry skin runs low on natural moisturizing factor — the urea, amino acids and salts inside the outer cells that pull water in and keep them plump.
This puts them straight back, which is why it works on rough, scaly shins and arms where a plain lotion slides off.
Damaged Skin Barrier
Okay fitUrea hydrates but does not rebuild. This one also carries ceramide NP, one of the fats holding the outer cells together, plus lactate, so it works on water and structure at once.
Wait until cracks close before you start — urea stings on split skin.
Eczema

UreaRepair Plus is built on that. Urea at 5% or 10% pulls water in, lactate, glycerin and amino acids add more of the same mixture, and ceramide NP works on the glue between cells. It does two of the three moisturizer jobs; sealing is left to something else.
Urea at these strengths is well studied for very dry skin, and this is a good version. But it is not automatically the best pick — a 2025 trial found a modern emollient plus beat 10% urea on barrier measures in mild-to-moderate eczema. Eucerin Advanced Repair, 5% urea with ceramides, does the same job and is sold here.

Cetearyl Alcohol
A fatty alcohol that softens skin and thickens the product. Despite the name, it is not drying.
Ceramide NP

Phenoxyethanol
The preservative. It stops bacteria and mold from growing in the product.
